If a person is a critical thinker and uses data in his reasoning,
it is without question that members of the Farmington Board of Education have failed miserably.
November 06, 2011
-No Farmington area high school ranked in the country’s
-No Farmington area high school ranked among the top State of
Michigan high Schools.
-Per pupil spending ranks above neighboring districts yet, all
of neighboring districts ranked higher in performance than Farmington area schools.
Other than Tim Devine, all members of the Farmington Board of
Education have seniority since at least 2006. They have had plenty of time to
get education on the right track and collectively they have failed miserably.
Despite having two members claiming to be experts in public relations
(Brouillette and Brauer), the group failed miserably in the under-the-table negotiations regarding the Eagle School sale.
The group fails/failed miserably in dealing with the life and
death traffic situation for the 45 residents on Minglewood Lane created by out of control Highmeadow School parents, teachers,
staff and visitors. Why would a school district use a school building on the
far eastern portion of the city as a lottery school when there are no northern or western access roads? Why would the school district subject a single street with 45 residents to 120,000 vehicle trips per year
from drivers to and from Highmeadow School? Why would a school board be
afraid to schedule the issue of the safety of Minglewood residents on a regularly scheduled school board meeting agenda?
I would call that type of collective thinking arrogant, short
sighted and pompous. Unfortunately, most elected officials develop these afflictions
while in office for extended periods. Their belief in their self-importance becomes
as noticeable as the nose on their face. (See Ellis, Bates, Oliverio, Massey, Brickner, Bruce).
In 2011, we have two candidates with impeccable credentials, Ginsberg
and Kahn. If any Farmington Hills resident does not vote for them, that resident
must be crazy, stupid or stubborn. There would be no other way to describe such
a voter. The Farmington Observer newspaper did not endorse Ginsberg or Kahn. I would call that type of newspaper reporting irresponsible and childish. Shame on the Observer and Phil Power.
I will be voting for Ginsberg and Kahn on November 08, 2011.
I will NOT be voting for any incumbents on the school board or
city council. You can throw the whole bunch of them out in the garbage on as
far as I am concerned.
I hate prostitutes. I hate politicians. (Redundant) I hate career politicians. I hate arrogant career politicians. We have plenty of that last group in Farmington Hills.
If you do not like me, my opinions or my language then stay the
hell away from me and stay the hell off Minglewood.
