If there was any doubt about Farmington
Hills, Michigan, being THE MOST CORRUPT CITY IN AMERICA, I urge you to read the Mayor’s Message from the 2011 Annual
Report mailed to all residents.
Barry Brickner states…”I’ve
had the good fortune of knowing all of the previously elected mayors-people I admire and whose great leadership qualities
I intend to emulate, and people who I am proud to call my mentors, colleagues, and friends.”
Given the fact the Farmington Hills has
had three corrupt mayors in the last twenty years (Terry Sever, Larry Lichtman, Ben Marks) and we have current city council
members who were part of those administrations and did not nothing to prevent the corruption, Barry Brickner is all but telling
us that he plans to join the long list of corrupt mayors and politicians in Farmington Hills.
Brickner goes on to say…”I
have the ability to learn from past events, to build on the good and let the “few failures” fall into the dust
of forgotten history. I pledge to build on the accomplishments of my predecessors
to keep Farmington Hills the city that others strive to copy, but never surpass-a city that is the pinnacle of good government,
forward thinking and service to our residents and businesses…”
Barry, if other cities are striving to
match the record of three corrupt mayors in Farmington Hills in twenty years, God help us all.
As far as letting the “few failures”
fall into the dust of forgotten history, I urge Brickner to do some research on the phrase “Who today remembers the
Armenians?”
Adolph Hitler said this shortly before
invading Poland in September 1939. He was referring to the first Genocide of
the twentieth century perpetrated against the Armenians by the Muslim turks in 1915-1918.
The Armenian Genocide has been recognized
and documented by just about every civilized country in the world except the United States.
The corruptive influence of the turkish lobby on American politicians continues to this day.
Barry Brickner, even the most elementary student of history knows the
phrase, “Those who ignore history, are doomed to repeat it.”
